The butterfly knows that, even though it is vulnerable, an enormous strength lies within that small body and in its wings.
It was morning, and the technician was coming by to service the boiler. Nothing unusual. But when I went to the garage to check whether he could easily access everything, my eyes fell upon a butterfly hanging beneath the boiler.
I carefully took a small jar so I wouldn’t hurt it, and there it was.
I gently touched one of its wings and, sure enough… it opened its wings for me.
That was when I noticed that the edges of its wings were damaged.
But nothing in life happens by coincidence. Butterflies have always been great messengers in my life. You can find them everywhere in my home. Whenever I have gone through an important transformation, I have placed a beautiful butterfly somewhere as a reminder of that transition.
But this butterfly brought me a different message. A message for the time that lies ahead of us.
Recently, through Solaré, I sent out an invitation to an event with the theme:
“The Importance of Strengthening Our Higher Self.” ( only to follow life in Belgium )
Especially in these turbulent times, this is more important than ever. (See the calendar on my website.)
The message I wish to bring feels to me like planting seeds of higher consciousness for the New Earth. There has been a lot of response, but so far, no active participation.
Does that mean that this message has no value?
No, quite the opposite.
These are new seeds of higher consciousness for a New Earth. But seeds can only germinate when the right soil is present.
And perhaps we are now precisely in that transitional phase.
Something extraordinary is taking place: the old is disappearing, while at the same time, something new is being born.
You can plant new seeds, but they cannot thrive in old soil.
That is why it is so important for many of us to awaken and be consciously present, so that we can give strength to this process.
And yet, deep down, I know that what I am doing is valuable. It makes people think, touches something within them, and may invite them to reconnect with their own power.
Some people see that.
Others experience fear and try to project that fear onto others. Sometimes because you do not live up to their expectations, sometimes because they project their own choices onto you.
And that is okay.
Everyone has a choice in life.
But I know what I choose.
That does not mean that it never affects me as a human being.
Because I know the intention with which I do this work of light. And precisely because of that, I sometimes feel like that battered butterfly.
My wings are sometimes damaged too.
Just like those of so many other lightworkers who may be wondering:
Nothing is happening. Does what I do really make a difference?
But let me tell you:
Yes. Never doubt that.
Keep sending out the light.
Even when others dismiss it as a lack of self-worth or as simply not understanding.
That is not necessarily the truth.
Sometimes there are hidden blessings within these very moments. Sometimes there is protection at work that you cannot yet see. A protection that is guiding you towards something much greater, something that has not yet revealed itself to you.
From the subtler realms, this was made very clear to me:
Move forward without fear.
Even when the results are not yet visible, your efforts are not a useless sacrifice.
Because even when your wings have been battered by the harshness of some people, know that you are not merely this physical vessel.
Just like the butterfly, you may trust in the immense power that lives within you.
The power of your connection with your Higher Self, your Sacred Heart, and the divine, universal being that you truly are.
And now, this can be revealed here on Earth!
These are the keys of light that can restore our battered wings.
And that can allow us, like a phoenix rising from its own ashes, to rise again and shine as never before.
Let this be our shared purpose:
to support others.
To help them remember what truly lives within them. And to share what we, as old souls, carry within us in terms of knowledge, wisdom, and life experience.
To also help others restore their battered wings.
So that the collective seed of the New Earth can blossom in all its glory.
Then we contribute to a greater, divine plan:
the awakening of humanity to a higher consciousness on Earth.
And perhaps that is the true message of the butterfly:
You do not have to wait until your wings are completely healed before you fly.
Fly.
Trust in the power that lives within you.
And keep being the light.
When the butterfly, with its battered wings, rose from the jar, it flew high and with great strength. What an intense and beautiful moment it was to witness!
